I have also been appointed to advisory commissions by three state governors and three presidents. I have published numerous law reviews, including two that were the first on the topic in their respective genres. I have published nine volumes of encyclopedias, some with my wife, Robin Morris Collin. Two were the first in their genre - the book on the EPA was mine. The 3-volume set on sustainability was ours. My book, Battleground Environment, two volumes, describes the 100 most controversial environmental issues from the perspective of community, government, and industry. I have also been certified as an expert witness in both US federal court and state courts. I have won 2 awards, chosen by students for teaching excellence. My book, The Climate Adaptation Generation: A Blueprint for the Future, was awarded the best climate change book in the US in 2025.
